Actually, the vertex, the point of your head that you pointed, is craneal, not dorsal.
@jesscliffee3 жыл бұрын
@@naturalspanish1049 technically not! Because when you're describing the head you use rostral and caudal - instead of cranial! Because everything on the head is cranial!
@naturalspanish10493 жыл бұрын
@@jesscliffee @Jess Cliffe @Jess Cliffe I probably did not explain myself correctly. Technically everything in the head is cranial..and Is not at the same time. If we talk about an absolute term, the face Is not part of the cranium. If we talk about relative terms, my nose is cranial over my mouth ( Same way that both the nostrils and the eyes are rostral in a dog, but the nostrils are rostral over the eyes) That makes the point that you touched the most cranial part of your body ( that's why it's called the craneal vertex - or the general area the craneal boveda). Should have not said cranial though, because when taking about biped species we say superior over cranial ( so my nose would be situated superior over my mouth, but never dorsal to It). Sorry if my explanation sounds rude. I'm not trying to be mean at all. I'm doing the best I can with my english.

Yes thats so cool, thanks for telling me about that technique :) Hmm, I definitely prefer small animal medicine at this point, however I do love some aspects of large animal medicine, but in terms of speciality I'm unsure - I'm enjoying both surgery and pathology at this point so either of those could be a route I go down. But right now I'm just going with the flow, and hoping to start off in a mixed animal practice.
