I wanted to do research on ace because it was prescribed for my cat after surgery to help keep him from going after his surgery. This video was very informative and told me everything I wanted to know! Thank you for posting!

You're welcome. Gabapentin is generally recommended for cats now and Ace is on its way out entirely.

At around 34:23 you mention that cattle "require 10% more" of the dosage of Xylazine for horses. They actually require 10% less than the dosage of Xylazine for horses [Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook, 8 ed, p. 1102]. Also, although it is used in Canada for cattle, Xylazine is not approved for use in cattle in the USA, and if used would be considered extra-label use. Great presentation on veterinary tranquilizers, though. Very clear, with helpful PowerPoint slides. Thank you for posting.

Correct! The slide was correct but I worded it incorrectly. A shame I didn't notice that. Thanks!

What do you use to treat a dog that is fixed with cancer and aggressiveness they gave something to the older dog after awhile he had to be put down and a lot of veteranians have eithic problems prescribing tranquilizers for aggressive animals

Probably anatomy is a good start. It's typically a first semester course in most programs.
