My dog had his dose of Interceptor plus with Milbemycin oxime yesterday. Today he found the rest of the package, on the counter... he ate 4.5 tablets (1 tablet for 50-100lb dogs). I read some articles and did the math and found that a non toxic dose for my dogs size 115-120 lbs is 103.5mg. Well each tablet has 24mgs so coincidentally 4.5 is 103.5mgs. However, he also had his 34.5mg dose the day before... I clicked this video for a last minute desperation to find more info. I already tried 3% hydrogen peroxide with no luck, I ran with him to try to induce vomiting from the peroxide. No luck. I then went to the store to find activated charcoal, no luck... we're not having a very lucky day. I'm glad I found this video which is somewhat comforting but idk. I'm still very worried and upset that this happened. I have so much homework at an important time for my degrees but I just can't get myself to look at anything else. I guess all I can do is wait, worst case scenario we're going to the e.r but so far 9 hours and no symptoms. I hope he's going to be ok, I can't lose my dog he's all I have. Thank you for the information, as a science student the only thing that will ease my mind is the data. @Tim Baylor Listen dork, the e.r's here won't see any dogs unless they're in immediate life-threatening danger. We were turned down at one down the road and the only other one within a two 3 hour drive. The point of me looking to better understand what could happen. Focus on yourself, nobody's talking to you.
