I like the Klein Cresent wrench 8' jaws opens 1 1/2 inches. Or the one that never fails me the Knipex plier wrench 8' same as Cresent but i use it as a ratchet which is a plus when you get used to the tool. Great video 👌👍

The zipper pockets on the side are especially good if you know you're going to need a specialty tool for a job that usually lives on the van

you can buy the expander heads individualy, mine did that aswell i got the value hydralic set now really good!

I did think about just changing the head. This set weighs loads compared to my new set though so might have to ditch it to save weight 😅 Always wondered if the hydraulic ones were worth it ! Are they much better to use ?

Yes they are much better. one handed operation can get them in real tight spots on the press-gun system now so we’re not really brazing a lot. Lent them to a mate he’s well happy Comes in a small good box With my expander heads I was going to get a bit of foam and cut out so heads can fit in pouch protected my 5/8” head completely fell apart spent 20 mins putting it back together 😂😂 Not fun

@@buildingsolutions2874 They sound decent mate 👌🏼 For some reason I had it in my head that they wouldn’t be any good in tight spots but actually I suppose they’d be better as you don’t have to open the handles right up ! Mine don’t get much use now to be fair as I don’t touch much install anymore just used for the odd pipework repair here and there 👍🏼

You should upgrade to the Hilmor hydraulic one hand swaging tool I've had one for about two years now it's awesome. There ratchet bender is great to both are much smaller then anything else 👍

Great part 2! Do you mop up the excess lubricant before it goes back in the bag or just let the bag get oily? I do the same but dab the excess. Obviously this takes longer and can waste lubricant

Thanks mate 🙌🏼 If I’m doing a few tools I’ll usually spray the tools over a plastic tub and then just use the excess for the other tools too 👍🏼 I tend to leave them out for a bit before I put them back in the bag 👍🏼👍🏼 Few bags of silica gel thrown in the bottom of the bag helps too

I didn’t know the clip on the strap clipped onto the bag, I find the strap gets caught underneath the bag and drives me crazy , one less thing to piss me off

No need to get roasted haha I do mostly commercial hvacr but when I get emergency calls on restaurants its a must I gotta clean them on top of that shieet these tools are expensive just shows how you are as a person.
