Great Video! Showing the actual location where the window should be set has been helpful. All videos I have seen just talk about what they did, verse showing....Seeing the black tape on the window and where it should sit in the bracket was key!

I can totally relate to how gratifying subtle corrections can be. Especially ones that fix rattles or "minor" noises that most would ignore. I have a wobbly window and a door panel that now sounds loose when I close it. Watching content before I embark on the surgery. Thanks for the info!

Wish I found this about a year ago, i've been dealing with leaking issues on my C5 Convertible forever. Even after spending a fortune on all new window seals etc it still leaks. Someone had mentioned adjusting the window but no shop really seemed to know how to do it. Going to take a look now and hopefully fix this issue once and for all.

@@johnathonwoolsey8163 I have adjusted it is several times always with the door panel off. I think it is a little to high right now however the front targo top window seal is bad. It makes it hard to know where the window should be when it is all the way up. I have been looking for the seal but I guess they don't make it anymore.

Thank you, I've done this once with driver side new regulator on my '03 C5 130K miler some years ago (use Dorman, great quality/price!) but I need to go at it again, it's become sloppy. This is very thorough - a bit disorganized in your approach but still super helpful and detailed, appreciated!

Yessssss!! 🙌🏼 Thank you for this! My drivers side window is wobbly and drives me nuts.. I had the door panel off to figure I could tighten the blocks that hold it tight…. But there are none… no this isn’t an F Body…. 😅 and my window opens up at high speeds too. So you’ve given my a good amount of info so I can go in and fix this damn thing 😂

Don't know how I missed this vid.🤔 I hate that wobble sound! & water gets in at the top of my windows when I wash her. But looking to replace my weather strip soon, so I guess it's best to see if I still need to adjust it's height after that's replaced. Thanks for all the awesome content 👍😀

Hey Dude, life saving video you put out there! I have a very small gap at the top of the window near the A pillar and the noise and water leaks are driving me clazy! Just one thing == which way do you turn the adjusting screw to make it go up, and which what to make it go down? I have to lower the back of the window a tad. I have been researching the heck out of this subject and am getting conflicting information--but you have got it right. Tuesday I am going into replace those Bose speakers in the doors so I figure that would be an excellent opportunity to do the adjustment. Thanks again for the video! Finest kind!

I have a bit of air getting into the cabin from the driver side window. Just not sure if it's the weather stripping or the window height

@@johnathonwoolsey8163 I did, and it actually helped a lot but couldn't stop the air completely. Had to keep driving the car to check every time I adjusted it and was satisfied where I left it for now.

My son and I have replaced both sets of regulators on our C5"s. When we shut the doors with the windows down, 2 of the 4 windows make a loud bang when shut them . All 4 were installed exactly the same way and everything is tight. What is causing this?

I figured out why. The top of the glass is going below the velvet strips on the door when all the way down. It needs to stop between them. I don’t remember an adjustment for that.
