Same!! I’ve always loved the start to end vids but also wished we could see more updates about them but understood we couldn’t bc they were all so busy. Now we still get the story vids! And love seeing Dr Karri taking over to be more involved!! Love seeing all the new content.

Thank you for spaying Ollie. I had my Pinga done as soon as she was big enough. She also goes to the vet every eight weeks for her nail trim. My baby is spoiled.

First, thank you to the family who surrendered Ollie, you did the absolute best thing and gave her to Vet Ranch who you knew would help her. Thanks for saving the kitties especially the soon to be moms. December is so cute, I just know some awesome family is going to adopt her very soon. I ❤️🌈❤️ the wall ! Again Pounce is such hoot make laugh every time. I’m glad Kiki and Squeaky haven’t been adopted, sorry I am selfish I so love seeing them it would be so sad not to see the every week.

Thanks to Dr. Karri for mentioning how easy it is to foster Momma cats and babies. Having spent about 25 years in rescue (retired now) I know some folks, even experienced fosters, are afraid to take a pregnant cat. But seriously, all you have to care for is Momma, SHE will take care of the babies. Easy Peasy. :) So go ahead and volunteer to try, its more rewarding then you might imagine.

Biting rabbit A friend got his boys a pet rabbit when they were stationed at the embassy in Korea. The rabbit lived longer then it’s life expectancy. Once when the older boy was 12 I was playing D&D with him and some other middle school kids, that rabbit bit three different 12 y/o boys during the game session. Says something about the intelligence of the third boy.

I would have clipped the rabbit under the anaesthetic 😂😂. Love so much is being done to stop the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals. The responsibility is each & everyone of us, but the animals pay. Spay, neuter & adopt 😻🥰😻🥰 Happy Christmas 🎄

Always a matter of WHEN, not IF, you will get bit. Rabbits are not dogs. 2,000 years of domestication (and only a few hundred years as pets instead of livestock) vs 11,000 years. A lot of prey "fight or flight" instinct left. Still can make a great pet if you are willing to put in the effort.

Wait, this is new to me, have had bunnies for over 8 years. Never been bitten except for some sneaky holes in my clothes. But I don't pick them up unless absolutely neccesary and I dont corner them. They are both spayed/neutered so that might be the difference.

@@irispostema Maybe you are REALLY lucky. Or your "when" has not arrived. Sigh. Makes me sad to see the bunnies on the local animal rescue sites. Especially shortly after Easter. Once they get larger and are not properly socialized people just do not want them anymore.

Ive luckily never been bitten by rabbits ive had over the years. Of course i always got babies snd handled them frequently. I had several litter box trained in the house. And one i trained to walk on a harness/leash. My neighbors would laugh at me walking my bunny around the yard lol they can be amazing pets for sure

Saving dogs AND cats from the Death Row in their area makes them angel. Blessed Christmas to all of you. Dr. Karri I wish you had said that I learned previously on your other shows. *MANY MORE CATS ARE KILLED THAN DOGS* . Plus *pregnant* pets are automatically killed to prevent more offspring. Yes, three times more cats are killed than dogs. God blessings to all of you.

Having raised rabbits as a kid, getting bit is just something that happens. Especially with female rabbits. They can get absolutely aggressive, for no reason I've seen. Hoping the neuter helps her!

I had a beautiful red angora bunny who bit. It was really dangerous because all the neighborhood kids came here to see the bunnies & he was so pretty & I was not always here to supervise. One day I was feeding him & he bit me - bad. It looked like a crime scene. My reflex was to toss him as hard as I could. Which kind of stunned him. Later I had a rehabber give me this trick. Bake a potato. Wrap it in a tea towel. Holding it by the towel, still piping hot. Put it in the cage toward him. Of course he bit it. Yes it hurt him. But not seriously. And he never bit again. And I could breathe, knowing he would not hurt the kids. I had dozens of bunnies. Handled them a lot grooming & trimming them for their fiber etc. He was the only biter I ever had. (Angoras are usually very gentle) And that one few seconds of pain prevented him from losing his life for biting kids.

Love watching progression of the animals. It's great having places like Vet Ranch that can help those animals who have no one to care for them. It's obvious to me that you ALL (techs, fosters, Doctors Karri, Wendy and Dave) care very much for the animals, both in deeds (fixing then and working with them) and in passion, which shows. The animals can see this too, when they are won over and show their true spirit after spending time with y'all and getting all tuned up!!! We could use thousands more just like you. Also, like some others, I'd be sad to see Kiki and Squeaky move away - they are fun to watch/see on your videos! I would take those 2 in a heartbeat if it weren't for one very opinionated little 9# brat here. Sweet kitty, great mouser, but causes issues with others. I have 3 zones and need more in her zone (lost 3 in the last few years from that zone), but she's a pill (fights with others through the screen door I use to separate them) P.S. left out the specialists, like Dr Read and the doc at Maisey's Mission. Don't recall all the various docs but all are good and informative too!

Lion heads are funny. They usually are a bit bitey, but they will stop it if you socialize the hell out of them. It's usually a grooming behavior than being upset. They do better in pairs, and strangers shouldn't play. My lion head will still nip, but it's never very hard. My daughter says otherwise. But he loves to come up and clean you. Will literally clean me from head to toe if I lay down in the middle of the living room. They are just a hard breed for newbies.
