The theatrical cut is not the cut released in the rotterdam film festival, as mentioned by VJS in an interview. The flashback scenes are added afterwards for having a commercial flavour to the theatrical cut. hope the full cut will be released in ott, and then as a whole the series might work well.

I felt Viduthalai 2, to be a political conversation with a friend (here Vetrimaaran) rather than feeling it as a movie. I might have felt that as I'm more curious about politics and communism. But that might not be everyone's cup of tea. So the movie is clearly weak as an artform. But I enjoyed watching

Actually vetrimaaran started writing the film based on "kaithigal", later when he came to know the rights were acquired by someone else, jeyamohan suggested him to read "Thunaivan" which is also a similar plot..

Example Amudhan character climax la vaathiyar ah suttutu Jeep la pesra dialogue convince avala.. coz visuals are trimmed and said with dialogue than showing.. guru ve thapu pana padam ithu so thapa kuda kathukiten nama panida kudathu nu. Rendu vishyam la negative side ah poirku from his decision. First neriya eduthutu audience ku ivlo pothum nu nenichathu second 8hrs shoot panom 8mins trim panom nu interview kuduthathu .. avare solirkaru once done is done don't ask excuse after film comes out. Athu sonathu Nala tan nane uncut version ku wait um panren but atha theatre liye release panlame.. series size ku eduthathu tan problem ah iruku.
