Any update on PMI and how they are doing in 2023 -2024? Haven't seen any recent reviews from franchisees and they aren't very active on their youtube channel

HI! What about the requirements. In Florida, do I need a Real Estate certificated? As I know I have to work for a Broker to manage rents and those stuffs. Do you help with it ?

You need a sales associate license in Florida. Can hang your license at a broker.

@@GPHTX with this franchise or property management in general?

With that franchise. I guess that would mean both then?

For TX yes. Here is directly from the regulator- "It depends on what the property manager is doing for the property owner. If the duties include showing or leasing the property for the owner for which the manager gets paid, a license is required. A license is also required for any person who controls the acceptance or deposit of rent from a resident of a single-family residential real property unit. Hey! Would you like to share more about this? Do you have any experience with PMI?

@Vettedbiz I'm a landlord and have been dealing with a sewer line issue that the HOA approved to have dual sweeps put in & a off-set in the line repair. I'm finally making headway & its on the docket to be repaired now , but communication with PMI's property manager has been difficult at times. It's been approximately 2 months for what is a 1 day repair in the sewer line and a dual sweep installation

@@st.bernard7498 dealing with HOA-approved repairs can definitely be a process! Glad to hear you're making progress on the sewer line issue. It sounds like communication with the property manager has been a challenge. Have you tried reaching out directly to escalate the issue? Sometimes a direct line of communication can help expedite things.

@Vettedbiz yes, and that got the ball rolling and then stalled. They also switched property managers mid stream because of some personal issues. It really felt like I was getting the run around. I'm the customer and was very polite but was made to feel like I was being a pain and I really was starting to feel like I was shelling out for glorified lawn care service. I plan on attending the HOA meeting tonight & sending fine chocolates to PMI's local office as a show of appreciation when the job is complete. I even told them to apply the reimbursement that the HOA approved to me for hiring a plumber to snake & diagnose towards fixing the problem. In fact , my complaining on this KZbin post was part of PMI's advice in a blog on their main website when you can't get through to them by other communications. If I didn't find out that 2 other units were also being affected I doubt anything would of been done. I'm pretty sure PMI was aware of at least one other unit as they had notified PMI of the issue as well. They were also like myself in regards to the communication issues.
