If i not mistake that kind of the echosounder has function like auto change of the depth range so it will be automatically keep your echosounder on applicable range

I’f it’s there then I have not use such function and as per vetting surveyor we shouldn’t be using such function

What about if we are sailing in ocean passage, than also we have to do weekly ranges test?

Then u don’t need to as echo sounder won’t show any depth

We have 2 sensors - Bow and stern. Bow is not working. Stern is working good...so will there be a remark, is there any requirement to have both working ? Or 1 sensor is good enough ?
