The VeVe app is a store that allows purchase, the VeVe Comics app is just a reader app. You're not able to purchase comics through the VeVe Comics mobile app.

It's not two of the same apps. 1 app is a store app and the other is purely a reader app. The VeVe Comics app doesn't allow you to purchase comics, it's there to provide you a place to read your digital comics with new features like smart paneling.

The ECL books (which allow you to read the comic but not own it) is a few dollars cheaper than the limited edition comic prices. It depends on whether you're purely interested in reading or wanting to own and collect as well.
