I think our collectables are going to be interoperable on trusted marketplaces like Amazon, and trusted metaverses that host Disney, Marvel, Coca-Cola etc where royalties can be collected and paid to licensors. This alone relieves the exit-pressure on VeVe. Gems are helpful to have a common denomination to mark value on the app. I doubt that goes away. The white-listed licensor apps will drop loads of items where they'll make main-stream money, but the original FA sets and drops will be the highly sought after grails that will be very high value.

Really good thought. imo, gems are such a sore spot for VeVe; corrupted program from the start, large market share going to Apple/Google Play... Makes sense that VeVe would want to move on from gems and start fresh.

I am a product manager, you don’t need an app. One can make a react website that works on any screen. If they get AR working on a website, using native camera, then an app is not needed. Apple is holding their breath, if websites can use native features like camera and microphone, no more apps.

In my opinion, I do not believe VeVe would go away from gems. however, I feel the Omi to MCP is a great way to offer utility for Omi. The Omi to MCP to NFT concept makes sense to me and is a big win, but it cannot replace gems (for the business side of VeVe). Thanks for the video! 🌟

Gems aren’t going anywhere. Keeps Veve in compliance with Apple and Google stores. If they didn’t have an app gems could go away

@@Alleyboy760 2/2 ------- you didn't ask but... I believe every web2 or web3 scam in the nft space will slow down the onboarding of the masses. If we were more educated we can clear the runway to onboard and KEEP newcomers safe. I worry if someone gets their assets lost by mismanagement or scams, be it their fault or not, they may leave the space and scare off others. For VeVe, for instance, I think many don't realize it's still NOT SAFE. 1. For MCP one can transfer their OMI to VeVe. This journey to stake OMI involves web3. 2. Many scams start out as web2 and recently I seen ~3 fake VeVe emails which can lead to web3 wallet drainers, or stay web2 and could lead to malware, key loggers etc. 3. With the Dapper lawsuit will VeVe be forced to copy cryptoys and have a secondary marketplace? If so best to start promoting security edu yesterday. -------- benefits of having more people is more than just higher profits... If the digital collecting space had a larger Total Addressable Market (TAM) = I believe more investment would be injected to build out cool utility faster. Private companies are more likely to fund R&D for cool peripheral hardware and software to hopefully get us fun utility that has mass appeal. Right now our nfts are boring-all platforms I'm in. No surprise the masses are not here. It's not safe and it's not fun.

Mahalo for the video. The big problem is that the GEMS in app are a HUGE liability for VeVe. I highly doubt that VeVe has the liquidity to convert all of our GEMS to FIAT. Before they stopped showing the data on IMX the GEMS in app (11 days ago) are roughly $175,887,123.59. The money flowing into GEMS is what is giving VeVe its cashflow. People loading FIAT into the app like a "bank account" for future purchases far outweighs the revenue. I made a video a while ago saying that it was a good thing that VeVe is moving to FIAT only on VeVe Comics, but based on the mint numbers on the comic drops the sales are very low. OMI to MCP does not make sense IMO. Injecting layers into the system with OMI will further keep the "community" to the roughly 2000 people using the app now.

There will be no loading, straight purchase of things with fiat. MCP will be restricted with unreasonable numbers requiring purchaees

There 2000 content creater about veve , i think veve is bigger. At stacr there constant Flow of sales and buys ,if there were only 2000 people they were totally active ❤

@@KidsMusicTeleVision Mahalo. Look at the VeVeXTracker. There are less than 3000 Active Wallets in the last 7 days. Only 917 wallets minted the Brandalised drop. The core user base are the main customers. As for 2000 content creators that all depends on what you define as a content creator. If you search on KZbin and filter by the last month you will see how few content creators there are. BTW I agree there are more than 2000 users as I should have said active users per day. Stackr also confirms this if you look at the Market Activity chart.
