The loose fit between the dimple die and the knockout hole, you may want to look into knockout sized dimple dies. There are both available (I so far like those offered by Temco Industrial), for either knockout size, or actual size punches. HTH.. ETA: There are also dimple dies available that let you use the cylinder and stud used with the knockout punches to not have to use the press or vise.

I have seen those and will be expanding my set but for the purposes of the video I was trying to introduce other low budget mechanics to the possibilities under 80 bucks! I think we all learn eventually that its worth the extra money but some folks wanna dip their toe first! Thanks for watching and the feedback!

That was a nice review. I’m getting ready to restore a hydraulic system like that that my uncle had in his body shop for at least 40 years. I just did a video on building a prototype bomber seat for my T bucket project. The final product with have a lot of dimple die flanged holes. I’m a new sub to your channel. I really enjoyed this video 👍

get a dimple die set with holes for bolt through. Should be able to use the Vevor knockout to put in the dimples on site. No vise or press needed.

@@RabidMooseGarage i have some of the bolt through type. They work great too. Good tip to use em with the vevor, I never considered that!

Im new! Swedish subscriber...! I like smaller canals, have to mainch with what you got, or have afford to own in tools... But now one more subscription to 500....
