Sure is. Can't wait to really try it out this summer. I'm partially tempted to get another one for the truck since I run flex fuel in it. I don't have a flex fuel station in my town so I gotta go about 20 minutes west. I figure it would at least help keep the truck topped off

Yes this company seems to be doing pretty well. I think the caddy will be a great addition. I can't wait to see how it does this season with refueling equipment. I'm glad you liked them chips. I gave the rest out to my family this weekend. My grandfather loved them as well.

Nice video. Kinda odd but they give you a filter screen at the filler cap but not a filter when siphoning. I guess one could tie a clean rag at the end of the nozzle.

Didn't occur to me about no filter when siphoning, but I think the majority of the time you'll be filling machines anyways.

I have one and the pump is useless. I mean there are much better pumps. 12 V. pump. Pumping fuel out means you are not close to the tank you are filling. It's also hard to pump and the hose gets brittle if any gas is left in it. Get rid of the pump. The fuel gauge never worked and the caps may as well be push on. I had to customize the axle so I could get the axle nut tight with out locking the wheel from turning. The good thing is they gave me my money back and said to keep the thing.

So far my pump is still working fine, I mean I haven't put but 20-30 gallons through it. I will admit that I've been close to overfilling my mower before just because this thing actually pumps pretty quick. I thought I would hate a manual pump, but actually it's not bad. I don't have to worry about a battery or hooking anything up just to fill a tank. I've also read/heard your not easily able to change the pump because the thread and pipe size is not a standard size. So I guess we will see how long this pump lasts and what I'll do when a problem arises.

That seems like a nice item. My only thought is how can I handle it full of gas when it will weigh about 250 pounds. So for now I will stick with the 40 pounds of the 5 gallon cans. My understanding is that you are not suppose to put fuel in cans when they are still in the bed of your truck ?

Well, if you have a trailer, you can just wheel it up and down the trailer ramp to go fill it. That's my plan. So when it gets low, I'll throw it on the trailer and go mow my route, and get it filled up at the end of the day. I know your not supposed to fill plastic cans in the bed of your truck because they can create static electricity easily. The Cady has a ground wire and alligator clip to ground the tank. So I assume it shouldn't be a problem filling it in the bed of your truck.

How possible would it be to take this down from your pickup truck bed after filling it with gas?

It could be done, but just going to be heavy. I haven't tried it and not going to try it since I have a trailer. If you have a bank you can back up to, that might help with the ramps not being as steep. Assuming you would be using ramps

I don't like how the anti-static clamp is electrically isolated by Teflon tape and fuel.

Ahh, good point, I didn't think about that. Would the Teflon tape really make a difference though🤷

@@VanLoweLawnCareTeflon tape is an electric insulator, and so is fuel. I have no idea if that's the right way to use an anti-static clamp or not. Best of luck! 😂

@@kevinmiller5467 😂 Thanks. So after thinking about it today though. I think the biggest reason the ground is on the pump is because the pump is a vain pump. So the internals are plastic. If you think about it, plastic rubbing on the aluminum housing could cause static electricity. This is just my best guess though.

Sure can, you'll see it at the 10:20 mark in the video I showed the black fill cap on the top of the caddy with the filter where you fill it at the gas station.

How long did it take to siphon that 15 gallons out?

What's the reason why? Not many options for 30 gallon plastic tanks!
