Good video! I have the orange Vevor.... The best you can do to avoid smoke next startup is to run it full power 5 or 10 minutes before you shutoff...then you have a smokeless startup Greetings from overseasz France 👋🏻

I have a friend building a custom all aluminum interior for a class B camper van. All structure, hardware and surfaces are to be aluminum. He's building it for a guy with a bunch of serious allergies to various materials. He had to build a custom aluminum box to enclose one of the diesel heaters. They're definitely interesting heaters, light weight and efficient

Ohh wow sounds like an interesting build.

I bought the Gearzaar version of this heater that also has a Bluetooth app that works very well, but blew a lot of white smoke when I first started and leaked some diesel out the exhaust pipe, I guess I over primed it 😅

Ya that will happen on the first 1 or 2 start ups. Glad your enjoying it though

Dang! I need one of these for my garage AND my shop at work! That thing gets nice and toasty!
@TonyTheTechnician Жыл бұрын
Ya in about 10 min it will start pushing out some really good heat. I know alot of people who use these in garages and love them

The numbers on the screen when off is voltage coming in , when running H 2 represents watt H2=2000 watts of heat

Hello again, Tony Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Question for you. You said, Your going to use this in a tent. Have tested how hot the heater hose is going to be? Do you have a insulator between the hose and the tent fabric? I just am siding on safety. Again thank you 😊
@TonyTheTechnician Жыл бұрын
thank you and no insulation on it im assuming its going to lose some heat as it passes through in cold temps and i know alot of people use these for roof top tents but i will make sure to keep an eye on that. thank you!!

I run mine all winter on low to heat my crawl space under my trailer house. Only problem i have had is that the chamber the diesel drips into and burn soots up and starts smoking out my attached garage. Probably the downside of running it on low. Usually have to clean it every 2 weeks.
@TonyTheTechnician Жыл бұрын
Oh that's good thinking and good information to know about running on low. Thank you
@MikeAndNary10 ай бұрын
The soot buildup and smoke may not be due to running it on low but more because of your elevation and the elevation settings. Are you at a high elevation?

But why does Noone actually show the first setup, what should all the settings be at, ?
@TonyTheTechnician11 ай бұрын
What first setup. All you do is put the pieces on add diesel and plug it in. No settings need to change unless your adjusting heat level
@stevin70710 ай бұрын
Is it ok to run these for shorter periods of time? I'll only need it for like 2-3 hours per day
@TonyTheTechnician10 ай бұрын
Ya shouldn't be a problem at all

Why do you have a hose on the heat where it comes out? It's not a hair dryer.
@TonyTheTechnicianАй бұрын
To put heat where I want the heat. Just like your house. I'm not going to sit next to the diesel heater lol

Im deff not tryng ti be a douche tard but why would u have the heat exhaust and the engine exhaust facing the same direction?just curious..not tryin to b mean..
@TonyTheTechnician10 ай бұрын
It doesn't matter where the engine exhaust is. The heating hose is going to be a long ways away from the exhaust
