That is a good question Kevin and I cannot answer it. This is the first time I have seen these fittings.

You're applying waterline pressure to the inlet of the macerator pump, not a real world test. I've put in a Saniflo version of this setup, and it came with the same fittings. It handles a toilet, shower, and a vanity with no issues in over eight years.
