I did as much research as I could before getting one and all I can say is that I made the right choice.

@@levi5016 Yeah, pro press tools are way too much money. Seems like there is no way to recalibrate this after the 10k or 30k presses. Not sure which is correct. But after that much, I'm guessing you got your moneys worth. 1/2 to 1/3 the price of RIDGID is worth.

I have an idea for a video maybe you can do. There was a youtuber that did a propress test where he took out the O rings from the propress and crimped it to show that the crimp not the o rings were keeping it sealed. Maybe you can do the same test with this tool because he did it with a Milwaukee

But will they service it if it breaks?

Garden hose fitting connecting to a MIP fitting , which is tapered, won;t work.

Did you watch the whole video? 🤦♂️

Mind doing a video with the same setup but taking the orings out of the fittings. Curios how well the pressing heads are made. Higher end kits have videos online of pipes still sealing without rings

I'm not trusting it without hydro static pump putting at least 150psi on those joints

@@Scott-eo7lj with the Vevor pro press I’ve done six tankless water heaters all pro press including pro press shut off valves , 3 service risers, a few spot repairs, and I have used the mega press jaws from Milwaukee for gas lines and I have had zero leaks and no call backs. This pro press is also stronger than the Milwaukee m12. I totally trust this product.

so its adapted for the milwauke mega press, so basically 1/2 to 2 inch black iron ?
@levi50164 ай бұрын
@@kaybi6 good question. I have a video here on KZbin where I use the 1/2 inch mega press jaws and it worked perfect. I also have used the 3/4 jaws as well and there were no leaks. I haven’t used 1inch or higher but I believe it will work. The Vevor propress is equivalent to the Milwaukee m18.

Hows this this tool working out for you so far? I just ordered one for DIY projects and am a little nervous.

@@fasteddie5388 it’s working out perfect! For DIY you made the right choice but even if you bought them to use for work like me you would still have made the right choice.

The hose relieves pressure unevenly. Use a hard pipe to test. Also manhandling the fittings inserting and reinserting and it didn't look like you cleaned and debarred either
@levi50164 ай бұрын
@@yungwing4940 There’s no need for me to test this product anymore because I have videos on my channel where I’ve done work with it, like install a tankless water heater, and I have had zero call backs. I have used the Vevor pro press countless amount of times and it works perfect no leaks whatsoever.

Are you self employed, curious as to how your van is set up. I'm looking to break out on my own
@levi50167 ай бұрын
I just saw this comment, yes I am self employed. The van came with a shelf already from the last owner and i put all my 10 foot pipes on there. I’m able to put my tools and snake under it too. As you see in the video I have Milwaukee packout boxes and I recently put in a gorlitz hydrojet in there and I still have a lot of room. It’s a Chevy express extended version. I eventually want a van where i can stand without crouching down but as for now this van is perfect.
