Congratulations. Having that machine will be such a game changer for you. I use mine for everything, including salami, and I find that with the plate with really big holes (I think mine is 10 mm) it is perfect for a coarse grind and a textured salami. I will recommend getting a sausage stuffer, I personally prefer the vertical version, and this makes it 10 times easier to stuff sausages and salami when you are doing it by yourself with no one to help you. I have used my electric grinder, and it can be done, but you really need 3 hands and even then it is still not all that easy.

That is nice machine. For me, I find the machine works best with meat that is frozen and cut into small 3cm chunks. Also put the grinder part in the fridge or freezer so it also will be cold . I get best results this way and the fat will not stick inside the grinder when everything is so very cold . Don't put too much at one time because the machine will stop . If this happens you can reverse the machine a little bit but becareful that the grinder is connected good to machine or it will spin and come out and dangerous. My machine is big same as you maybe 20 kg and powerful. I use it for make everything in my restaurant because we grind the meat for hamburgers and sausage.🎉❤❤

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato I got a email from customer service today they said the small red button that's foam in the bolthead is to prevent oil from spilling during shipping all you need is like a toothpick something similar and just push the red center in with the toothpick this is essential as this allows more and proper airflow for the engine to distrueibe the oil properly without proper airflow it can fry your engine

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato sure thing man, say do you ever get any black residues in your meat from the machine the back of the auger grinds against the machine and def gotta watch out for the oil vevor recommends engine oil but why would we wanna chance it goin thru our food I feel olive oil or better yet plain mineral oil will be much better it'll help to grease the back of the auger on the metal behind it and the little head that turns the auger apparently it helps seems to be grinding a circle out behind the auger plate it's not severe or deep but I'm keeping an eye on it these ain't like the old school grinders we have one that's almost a hundred years old just pull it and go with no maintenance necessary lol

Do you want to rip your dog's stomach or intestines open by feeding him razor sharp bone particles? You can use a meat grinder if you also use a blender to grind everything down to a paste. It's a 2-step process.

China is notorious for selling products that has highly deadly elements in them. The companies in the US depends on them to carry that burden. I had to stop feeding my dogs pedigree in the late 90's and start them on a full slightly seared meat diet.
