Hey I really apologize for this, but I'm pretty sure since your floating intake tecnally moves foward and expands fowards that your backwards expansion with both that and your mobile goal holder isn't possible. I could be wrong, but tecnially if it goes fwords at all which I believe it does from the look, it can't be done

Heyo, thanks for expressing concern but we believe that it is still legal as they expand in the same direction and does not breach the 3rd plane. when the mogo mech is extended it does expand in the same direction and the 4 bar does as well but since they are the same direction and in the size limit it is legal. When your floating intake "floats" up it will technically be expanding out and since you also expand out the back then you would be expanding in two separate directions. A solution is to have your intake start up (assuming that would not put you out of 18in.)

Its a normal 4 bar which uses 2 pistons to power it. Its then banded using rubber bands at points that are closer together when extended than when retracted. The first stage is just flex wheel connected by chain with 2 blue motors, the second stage runs off the first stage using chain with 1 set of gears to reverse the direction, the chain is then run up to the top axle to power the chain lift with the hooks. This means that the entire system has the torque of 2 motors (assuming no losses, so more like 1.5 motors) while running at 600rpm. Hope this helps :)

Im honestly not sure but there is a low chance of having enough clearance, but i will see as we are redoing the mogo mech since this revision is kinda mid. Will get back to you when its tested :)

So if you feed it a ring whilst the entire mechanism is raised, can it still score or do you have to lower the mechanism every time you intake rings like other bots?

Yes, the robot can store 2 rings in the top of the intake but will have to go down to get 2 more. We are feeding donuts directly into the 2nd stage for demonstration purposes.

@@Febreeze4139B I see thank you, could you potentially use the gap between to maybe have some sort of flex wheel system that transports rings into the 2nd stage? It's a stretch but with some time you might be able to get it working.
