They dropped a comment about a month or so ago in one of their shows that they were tired and it was confusing to try and keep the voices of the various campaigns apart as they were in the midst of recording Mighty Nein, Vox Machina and still playing Bells Hells every Thursday. Since this was way past when Season 3 was in the can, it had to have been already recording Season 4. And Travis just said in a recent interview that they've finished the storyboards for Mighty Nein and are sending them off to be animated. I wonder if we will get the MN next fall, and then VM the spring after? At least we know they're coming. Vex's final shot was how "she wanted to do this" in the show, "I shoot her in the heart, and then shoot her in the mouth"

Having watched this episode a few times, I think that Raishan planned all along for Keyleth to kill her at that moment. It kind of explains why she waited for Keyleth to show up before she teleported away with Thordak's corpse. She wanted Keyleth (or any one of Vox Machina) to come, so that she could attack and thus betray them, and they would be motivated to follow and kill her. I think she needed to die before she succumbed completely to her illness in order to make a clean transfer to her new body. And maybe she needed VM to kill Thordak, rather than killing him herself, so that his corpse was not ruined by her disease. Eh? Just spitballing here.

Unlike in the campaign, Raishan _succeeded_ in becoming a dracolich. But... what will come of it? The last episode will reveal all.

It seems like they are showing a lot of Matt's plans that the team successfully stopped. The dragon eggs never hatched the dracolitch spell was never completed. Vox was generally not taking much down time and were just rushing to end threats. I know when I DM it kinda sucks to have your plans foiled but at the same time you are proud of your players when they outsmart your baddies.
