I know this song was made more than a year ago, and not many people will see this comment, but I just want you to know that this song made me happy. There has never been a song in my life that could make me go from sad to happy so quickly like this one just did. I was having a really bad day, depression and all, and I decided to go and continue writing my story. I put on a really old playlist of my old songs that I used to listen to so I could get a nice throwback of my music, and when this one came on, my whole spirit felt like it just got lifted. I remember how I walked down a dirt path all by myself dancing to this song with a big smile on my face last year and how happy it made me. Now coming back to it, it only made me happier. I didn't think I was going to get out of this weird funk I was in, but this song somehow did it. Right now I feel like putting away the cord to my computer, going outside and exploring the world, when just minutes ago all I felt like doing was playing video games and isolating myself. Vexento, I know you may not read this, but if you do, thank you for this song. It is such a beautiful piece of work and I appreciate it more than you can believe. Your music and your happy spirit has always brought a smile to my face. I hope that someday you'll make another song like this because I'm sure it'll just mark another chapter in my life. I may not have explored all of your songs, but I do know that you've been one of my favorites for a while. Thanks for making a song to brighten my spirit when I thought that nothing could, and thanks for being such a great inspiration to everyone. :)

it's not easy to put into words just how important this song has been in my life. It had such odd timing, in my life but I'm so grateful for it, genuinely. I first listened to this song when I had just figured out what I wanted to do with my life in terms of reselecting my major and what came after university, and it breathed so much life into my new journey. My way forward in life. This song came in just after a truly miserable time, having to figure out what to do after my academic dreams of becoming a computer science major fell through the cracks, leaving me lost, and hope began to feel like just a memory. I really shouldn't have kept all my eggs in one basket, but what would having a dream mean if not sacrificing everything for it, ya know? My dream was to teach English in Japan after realizing how much of an impact growing up with my Japanese friend meant to me, along with how much fun everything they exposed me to was. While this dream died as I graduated the same year Covid began (no way to get a visa, and schools weren't accepting new ALT's) It wasn't until 2-3 years later that visas were beginning to be available again, and by that point, I was already into a career path of office work that even until this day I resent. Truthfully, I think i've gotten bitter, and the idea of trying to make this happen in my current circumstances would just fill me with more regret than I already have. This song's meaning has become so much clearer over these past 6 years. Back then, I never let go of my dream until there was nothing left. But I think that for the current me, it's more about never letting go of that childish, fleeting hope that remains as my last bit of motivation. It was never so much about not letting go of my dream, and definitely more about what it is specifically that let me move forward all these years. I truly hope I won't let it fade away. Thank you Vexento, for making something so beautiful. And of course, I still keep up with your music. But, it's this song that I'm so grateful for. Again, thank you.
