The visuals and sound of this doesn't seem special now but when this came out it was revolutionary. Bigbang have always been innovators. They set all the trends that seem normal to kpop fans now. They were the first to give their fans a Fandom name, they were the first to create lightsticks, they were the first to dye their hair bright colors, G-Dragon single handedly changed the way male idols dress. The man invented kpop swag. And the music is amazing.

just if anyone hasnt told him, but BIGBANG (the remaining members GD, Daesung, and Taeyang) will be having a special performance on this years MAMA Awards. SO be on the lookout for the performance on youtube when its released. It will be one of their biggest comebacks since they havnt had a comeback in years for a single. But I am assuming they will just perform like a lineup of their old songs.

So happy you are checking out bigbang! They're music is kinda the definition of the music era they were in, which is what made them so noticeable. They were the top of the top for music in that era (more than kpop I'd say). NGL kinda also happy you know about burning sun before diving into them, cause while it was such a huge reason for them to never (fully) re grouping, and makes a lot of their music works of art in the time they were released. As far as guides go, there probably aren't any they are current or even valid at this point, but some from 5 years ago are decent enough to give you their history up until 2016ish

Bad boy, Loser, Fxxk it, Blue, Last Dance, Girlfriend, Sober, Zutter(this is a subunit song GD and TOP) and one of my favourite Bigbang song and underrated imo is Café.
