Hey everyone thanks for checking out this video ! This is a tour of my Pawpaw’s 2021 Vexus 1980 AVX Bass Boat! This boat has a mercury pro xs 4 stroke with 150 horses that can hit speeds in the mid 50’s! I like the wide platform at the bow. Seems like plenty of room to move around up there. I also like the channel iron on these boat trailers. I'd add a trick step to help get in & out of the boat.

yes sir , my grandad added a trick step to his . he has a buddy that makes them and it’s perfect - i’m only 19 and i’ve heard people call it the “old man step” but i love that thing . and it keeps from putting shoes on the sides of the boat

Nice boat! However I do disagree with you on the rod organizer. I really like it. It keeps my rods and more importantly keep my reels from rubbing and banging against one another.

Thanks ! and I do think it helps organize rods , but I am used to a boat with no rod tip organization and I believe you can fit way more rods without the organizer. but if you are fishing solo it’s not a big deal

@@jacobrobinsonfishing Well I use 8 rod's. That's more than enough for me and it fits my ride organizer perfectly. So I guess it's all about how many rods you like to have. To each their own

How is the leg room without the hot foot for someone 6’3?

I’m honestly not sure Don, i’m maybe 5’7 but i’d say you should have room being 6’3. not much but you should be good

at 6'3" you might feel a little cramped, but you would get used to it. I am 6' even and own this boat, and its just enough room for me with a hot foot.

Sorry y’all are about to have to go threw what you’re about to go threw… 2200lb boat with 3 folks won’t run 56 mph.. Someone really dropped the ball on the pad design.. Notice how the boat won’t turn at full throttle among other issues… Hulls being replaced after 1 year already now.. Split threw the middle on the bottom and not even in a weld.. Dude don’t talk this piece of sh*t up.. It’s honestly one piece of crap… Everyone is having major mojos issues with these rigs.. Ask me how I know.. I guide full time and my buddy guides full time as well on the same lake with this same exact boat and it’s junk. No hate, just is what it is.. Doubt you’ve owned many to compare this one too.. I have

Well it’s now Oct.7th and the boats still sitting in the driveway,Vexus has done nothing but talk about what there going to do with no action 🤷‍♂️ My guide buddy makes his living out of this boat and hasn’t been able to run a trip in 8 weeks… Needless to say he’s about to loose the boat,his credit and his mind ect. Keep in mind the boat is 15 months old and not useable.. Know when he calls Vexus it’s like he’s aggravating/bothering them at this point.. SMH 🤦‍♂️ DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK is all I can say 🤷‍♂️ It’s slow, falling apart everywhere with a 17 inch split threw the middle and no support from them period… Absolutely positively the worst sh*t I’ve ever seen… A Bass Tracker puts this boat to shame 100 times over.. Heck, a 95 model does.. I know this seem harsh but DAMN!!

Certified pile of crap. I have one, hull split after 12 months use. On my second hull, got back from the factory with shorted wiring harness, wrong HIN. JUNK. Falls off pad, slow af (1880 only goes 48). Definitely not what they claim.
