I purchased a VF SSV ute just before the Holden factory closed down, best investment I've ever made. My only regret is not splurging the extra cash for a series 2 for the LS3. It's still only done 67,000 KM, rides on Tein coilovers, Koya SF11s, Ultrex exhaust, OTR and that's about it. I've kept all the original parts just in case the next custodian of it decides to put it back to stock. I have a VE SS as my daily and the VF gets a run every couple of months. Great video guys!

Drove my brother's vf2 ss ute and it was easily one of my favourite cars. This one is so tidy 👍

Are those heads going to get a valve job (or at least checked for sealing) whilst at the machine shop?

We lapped the exhaust valves but that was it. Its low kms engine, seats and valves are in great condition.

I really like the VF11's, its a shame what GM did with Holden, but it is what it is! This example is very nice, would make for a great shop truck if funds allowed!

Not really necessary for something thats going to be boosted later on. The stock rectangle ports have plenty adequate flow for our requirements

What is that screen/ head unit? Is that an aftermarket VF thing or home job?

Its an aftermarket thing. quite nice though, totally integrates all the controls etc
