I have to give you a huge thank you, you saved my ass. I followed your instructions and everything worked except the motor would stop when I let go of the button. I noticed you were using momentary switches like mine so I re-watched your video and realised I had forgotten to program the PO-11, so I did that and it all works perfectly now. I’m so happy. Now I switch a big master switch and the VFD turns on and the original power lamp on the front of the lathe lights up to let me know there is power to the lathe. The original on / off switches also work too so it’s hard to tell there is even a VFD there. Thank you so much for your easy to follow and well explained video. Cheers mate, Stuart 🇦🇺

you will have a label but if you are telling 2.5hp i think above 1.5kw so 2.2kw will be enough for you

I thought i had it figured out but the programing far is what i couldn't get right. Even though the VFD stats rpm or hz i change it to. When i adjust it, the speed never changed on motor. I hate these kind of vfd where the programing is very hard to understand and get right

Not this model but a cheap VEVOR one , I did exactly what you said. Potentiometer for changing speed’s. But programming and understanding/fluking the pin out and setup to get it working. Can be done though

One comment: Start button should be NO (normally open). Stop button should be NC (normally closed).
