I remember reading somewhere that a planck length is comparable to a micron (one thousandth of a millimeter) in the same way as a micron is comparable to the entire observable universe; so the size of a human being actually leans more toward being “big” than it does “small” when you are comparing all possible scales.
@philojudaeusofalexandria9556
@philojudaeusofalexandria9556 29 күн бұрын
The entire universe may be on the order of 10^6 times the size (or more) of the observable universe... And there could be a near-infinite amount of universes in the multi-verse. So we really have no idea whether we are 'big' or 'small' if you start from the planck length and scale up to all that exists.

honestly not too terribly long I'd imagine, render time anyway. Fluid and smoke simulations take longer than anything to render. @@tychogoedhart286 Yes and no. You want the book to be as smooth as possible so ideally you would read the whole thing in one go and bosh! @@ryan-jb9fh I mean, I think it's less humans understanding the scale of the observable universe, and more theorizing and translating it into a way that humans can process with their brains. We're just a bunch of fleshy things on a rock in space, tbh. We don't necessarily understand the universe, this is just how we interpret it. Extraterrestrial civilizations likely have completely different ways of interpreting it our minds can't even process.
@carso1500

@@averythesuperhero thats not how it works, we know we understand the rules of the universe because we can actually use said rules to make stuff, like the computer you are using right now, of course this all comes from interpretations that the brain does but it works so who cares, and so far humanity is the only one capable of doing it at this scale, there are some animals capable of using tools but no other animal uses science to decipher the universe A diferent species would probably have similar ways of procesing information, not the same but there would probably be similarities, and so far theres absolutely nothing the human brain can't comprenhend So yeah we understand the universe because we are capable of doing stuff that actually works within it's rules and mechanisms, we have pretty much dominated the electromagetic spectrum that is one of the fourth fundamental laws of the universe for example

I think there is a joke that only a dumb person would be able to survive all the knowledge in the universe... I was unphased by the reveal. I think there was even a joke about it in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It's a fun movie and a great book series. In case it wasn't obvious, I'm not all that smart.

quarks and leptons would be the 60% silica (sand), 20% to 30% alumina (clay), 2% to 5% lime, up to 7% iron oxide and a little magnesia of the atom (google it that's what a red brick is made of)
