Ok, you asked for great practical creatures from the ‘80s. Please watch 1981’s DRAGONSLAYER. Still the best dragon on film in my opinion. She is terrifying and beautiful. There’s some great behind the scenes stuff online you can watch to see all the variations of the puppets. Sure there’s so kinda janky blue screen stuff when she flies, but it still holds up today. (It’s a bit of a slow burn because you have to earn that dragon but it’s so worth it.

perhaps we can use 589 nm leds only, and not actual Na lamps. cuz, in a year i might be doing this very thing. stop me if results wont be same.

Definitely does not reduce everything to subatomic particles, because that would be a chain reaction which would destroy the entire planet. Rather the fireball atomizes everything.

You should do a video in the “vfx artist reveals” series that realistically shows what the sun going red giant would look like, if the sun could supernova and what that would look like, and other astronomical events that we would never get to see

this is like James Lee's style of video editing, but it actually looks like a cartoon/anime. it's not as exaggerated as his style, but you guys get the vibe across really well, i hope AI tools like this can help growing artists bring their creations to life

Last time I checked the F/A-18 Superhornet aircraft also does NOT have the rio handles in the front seat. The FAA/Airforce would never let a very ordinary general aviation pilot fly a multi million dollar fighterjet. Honestly I thought it was obvious that Tom Cruise didn’t fly the plane, but maybe to an average individual

the whole thing blew my mind.. manufacturing maybe not the easiest thing, but after its set up, its such a cheap, effective and brilliant way to compose.. people in the 60s were different man.

If you want something that’s specifically in your head, create it by hand first then use CGI to help bring it to life after.

This is an amazing use of AI, a natural evolution of art, and keeping the most important thing on art: the human touch. AI is just a tool, and this is a very good example of how talent and creativity can use this tool to boost. ALso, I really like the way you tell this documentary.

As of TODAY I watched Blade II. At 19:50 in the movie, those CG stealth suits were something to laugh at. Earlier they also do a fight scene, where they show a vampire turn to fire dust, showing their skeleton. It's quite decent for the time, but still shows its age in a lot of other scenes.
