Cons: 1)there is no time bound promotion 2)U have to work 24*7 and u r not group b officer level life long u have to serve as superviser ( post they conduct exam as junior ENGINEER and senior ENGINEER but after coming they say u r not engineer just an one more scapegoat superviser , u won't have any power but if anything happens to track u will be fired 3) punishments are very strict ( u can fill entire room with charge sheets ) 4 ) no holidays or rest for openline one day in 15 days 5) life long group C u can't become Aden or axen 6) group A officers change rules as if it is their baap ka railway 7) pway incharge u have to work like a collector but u r just a superviser 8) works department is just for officers to get what they want

Yes somehow....this guy is showing the reality of RRB JE n SSE posts...outstanding benefits only gained by group b n group A officers...and in terms of promotions...they have faster time bound promotions...whereas group C cadre dont get faster promotions.

Now is huge difference in competition level right now...and at the time of of 2014 RRB JE and SSE examination, after that in 2019 when rrb je held again at that time pattern was changed and that was totally blunder by railway for screening at first stage of RRB JE by completely Non Tech pattern...and due to this Ssc cgl aspirants had made unexpectedly increased in cut off at first stage..this was totally blunder done by railways

Sir ...is it necessary to study civil engineering when no private companies give you a decent salary like IT .....I am from JNTU and Gate qualified with decent score and achieved NIT seat but no use ..tried for many private jobs ..just offered 24k on an avg ..my brother with normal degree in electronics is earning 80k per month..if someone ask me why you done civil engineering ..the answer is No career guidance to me at the age of 18 because parents were unaware of outside situation

if you want private sector and settle in india then civil is not a good branch. if you are aiming for govt job then civil is best branch.

I am working as a SsE in Indian railways for last 20 years..waste post..no promotion prospects..it is not a engineer post..just supervisory post...if u have no option then join as a SSE..promotions are good for lower cadre like technicians..

@@prabhanjanreddyvelpula2385It is complicated to explain , notifications not come properly,if they come exam dates were not announced,if exams were conducted results will be announced late, one example is RRB NTPC still process is going on.suppose if your preparing for technical jobs then ur out of race general degree jobs vice versa, and most of the PSU's are either going to be privitised or out soured it is happening very rapidly,if you get job you were payment is not much it will make you to live decently ultimately it leads to look for corruption in present situation that is complicated issue.in india population is very High infrastructure is not developed much so almost 90% reserved people are still think about govtt jobs. And now a days govt job holders not get much respect as 90's govt jobs holders. Every thing is going to be digitalised slowly(already most of departments are digitised) and finally in india to get govt job is hard (except a few) If you invest that time and money for Pvt job you will get good it job or if ur young you can go abroad where u can get job easily.

@@deepak006sara already you are studied obsolete subjects in ur engineering,they will help to get govt job only not to use in ur job suppose if u got job as senior section engineer (civil/electrical), you will mostly have supervision work nothing else. that job can be done by every one u don't have to study lots of engineering subjects every department has some established procedures, rules and regulations accordingly permissions were given they only supervise that works,for example we all see trasnco, genco and R&B engineers every day. will they design projects or implement innovative ideas in their job? nothing else they simply supervise and do administrative works, me also an electrical engineer in psu my work is supervision and administration only. I also once thought like you but in reality that will not happen.
