His killing power is like the worst in the game, his recovery is like the worst in the game, His range is bad, his smashes are bad.... He does good damage, I guess. And his Nair is really good. But come on, he needs something better than that. Fighting Heavy characters are the easiest because combos, but small fast characters, I have no idea if its even possible to win against them.

@@TheBioshocksnake His recovery isn't really the worst, the side B is almost impossible to challenge with its massive hitbox. Up-B isn't great but not the worst, plus Wolf has good aerial drift. He has decent killing power, but struggles in that department, I'll give you that. But his range is actually not bad, his ftilt is fast with great range, his aerials are all decent range and fast. His smashes, yeah they are slow. An his blaster is actually amazing. But Wolf is not bad at all.

Guys please, these commentators are so cringy... Was fine in the beginning and then the guy was spacing out and not sure of what to say, and the gal had to compensate to make up for the silence. There was quite a few awkward moments. They just try SO hard to be professional, serious and witty at the same time that it just comes off as unnatural. And most new commentators I hear are developing this sort of accent or way of speaking that's almost like a uniform.

The real reason they dont go offstage in ultimate is because the game discourages using an air dodge at any point in time. in the air and you get a LONG period that you cant do shit. on the ground and it becomes slower and slower, the game is supposed to emphasize attack over defence, but ive seen more aggressive playstyle in smash 4 than in ultimate

I couldn't disagree more actually with all of what you just said. The meta hasn't even developed at all barely and right off the bat I see far more offensive play in this game than in smash 4 also air dodges being nerfed significantly encourages edge guarding now more than ever and we see quite alot of it. Not to mention recoveries being nerfed overall. I'm not distracted at all by the visual effects and on the contrary they make the game that much more entertaining to watch. This is coming from a melee player who disliked brawl and smash 4 btw. I'm very happy with this game and while I would prefer it'd play a bit more like Melee, this is a fine compromise for me personally. Combos looks sick already and its only been 2 days of the meta growing. Give it time to grow and I think we'll see far more offensive play and even more combos. Most of these players come from smash 4 so its important to keep that in mind. This game can actually hold my attention (well most match ups anyway, this MU is not a good example).
