8:29 I am just as suprised as Chunky when that alolan whip got DK during the crouching. DK got caugh during the last 2 frames of Dtilt so it is not like Chunky did not hold down to stay low profiled. Incin grab box in the air goes down to his gotch barely very top of his thigh and as you can see it is above DK arm and head so I don't understand how he got grabbed. Maybe ultimate framedata is wrong about the grab hitbox size. I also wanted SkyJay to win but just wanted to point this out.

What do you expect? Lots of top players have gotten destroyed by Skyjay. You can't prep when there's only one Incin at this level. So you run a high risk of getting matchup checked even if youve played lots of less good incineroars before.

I propose some move changes for DK in the next game Change giant punch and make it into Fsmash, it can still be charged but cant pocket it. Neutral B will become a barrel projectile that works like peach turnip, with regular, steel, and tnt barrels at random, and to keep it balanced, if DK gets hit, the barrel drops and breaks, if its a tnt, DK takes explosive damage.

The Smash community sucks. Chunky is a fantastic player he literally discovered an oos option for DK that nobody knew about frame 7 upB which is how he destroyed Light 3-0. He spent hours labbing DK showing people that he’s viable.

Being combo food for decent players and bad recovery option outweighs other benefits. Against Skyjay who is always playing an uphill battle he can better punish dk because he knows what it means to use a bad character unlike Light. @@domthebandit9366 when you are juggled by Incineroar who has no speed its pretty significantly bad. Plus Skyjay played carelessly this time and still won. Too much dark lariat that is usually punishable if whiffed which he did quite a lot. 2 of lost stocks is because Skyjay decided to yolo alolan whip dk after being sent flying 2 times. Props for Chunky for adapting and optimally punishing but yeah those 2 stocks aren't fully because of dk but rather Skyjay being disrespectful towards dk. Rob has greater recovery 2 types of projectile and reflector. Dk is way worse overall on top of being combo food and very very exploitable recovery shown in the last game stock by Incineroar the slow chracter in smash.
