Very unfortunate that Sparg0 got called out for his classic habit under pressure at the end, the roll away to create space. It brings to mind the same ending vs Skyjay in Losers Finals of Collision 2023. Still, he played his heart out this season, I think we can still expect a strong ranking from him and even better performances in the back half of the year.

Sparg0 gets away with quite a few bad habits because so many people try to out aggro him and end up dying for over extending. Noticing players like Hurt that play much more methodically punish his tendency to mash his way out of disadvantage

See this is my issue with some of these top players. They are indeed super good but have at least one or two elite smash habits that barely anybody punishes because they try to beat X top player at their own game more than not. Sparg0 is the best masher so trying to OUT mash him is duuumb. Shadic just punished his dumb options and stuck with his own gameplan.

With a win on Spargo that leaves only one bracket demon left for Shadic if I’m not mistaken. Tweek. Don’t know how I feel about this lol. I absolutely love shadic but I’m also a pretty huge tweek fan 😂 It will be interesting to see the next time they play. It’s been amazing watching Shadic constantly improve and also start to defeat his demons 1 by 1 this year against light, Lima, Dabuz and now Spargo. This kid is insane.

As a corrin main I can tell you what if you do it right to the corner the fsmash can cover the full roll get up of any character too and if they roll you will always hit with the tipper is pretty nice :)

It wasn't just once. Shadic got 3-0'd at Luminosity Makes Moves Miami and lost twice to Sparg0 at Collision. It was on three seperate occasions.

Shadic was at a higher level during collision in comparison to LMMM, so the collision sets were more relevant. I would also add that shadic was definitely outplayed at collision, but he was not totally dominated and definitely had potential for future sets (like now).

Why can’t people parry pin? It isn’t that hard and usually leaves Corrin wide open. As a necessary kill move for the character, you’d think more players would answer it back.

It's sound easier than you think. But first of all pin came at a diagonal angle and people usually not ready for that. The other thing is that if platform was involved or if the pin hit the ground. Corrin can just jump up and her jump actually has intangibility. Not to mention Pin is frame 4 on ground. Even if you know it's coming it's not as easy as you think.
