Suna Yi If you only consider that second or third to last hit, you're right. Think about it though the entire match could/would've played out differently. The knockback on EVERY hit was different including EVERY combo. No one knows how that exact game would've gone.

Alexis Lopez Apparently the TO's made a screw up in the Leffen vs Chu matchb(something about Universal Controller Fix, idk), resulting in Leffen not being able to do super important stuff like shield drops and stuff. So after he lost, he asked to replay the set after fixing it. The second time around, he won, and ppl are now salty assholes because he won when it was played on fair terms.

He played 5 games. All 5. Once something is logged in the books, it's official. Name a single sports organization that has every had two teams replay a series due to missed/bad calls or a mistake by the officials. Teams and players get screwed. It happens. Redoing the set is one of the most unprofessional things I've seen from the Melee community, but then I guess the whole scene is going unprofessional. Pros get special treatment, and it's not even close to disputable. They show up late to matches, do insanely long handwarmers that make the even go over time, get coached mid set when the rules explicitly state that is illegal, and get sets reversed. Should EVERYONE who played a set on that TV be allowed to redo their games? Should we go and redo pools? What about everyone who played a top 96 match on that TV? Why does Leffen alone get the redo? The whole situation is just so scummy. It's not Leffen's fault, but the set should have stood.

Anyway, I'm no melee player (I play Smash 4) so I can't speak from experience in melee, but personally I think picking up a new character just for a single MU is harder and more time consuming than attempting to learn a bad MU with the same character you main. Of course, there are some exceptions, but since Fox is widely considered the best character in Melee I'm fairly certain he doesn't have any horrendously bad MU's like Ness vs. Rosalina in Smash 4. Feel free to correct me if I got something Melee-related wrong. Either way, regardless of the drama going on, great set to both players! The movement astounded me!
