You gotta accept it as it's own thing, but if you want high APM, tech skill focused gameplay, I don't think ultimate is for you. Jaycrowe Puff has also been recently considered a top tier so Fox also being top tier doesn’t mean much. And fox is def not an easy character (never has been) with his insanely high ceiling and tech skill, just because they’re top tiers doesn’t mean they’re easy to play.

@@JaydinCrowe fox is one of if not the most technical characters in melee characterized by aggression, neutral, and a strong but difficult punish and combo game. Puff is the least technical top tier, has no losing matchups, and only really goes even with fox and (maybe?) Marth. Puff can obliterate any fox that is too aggressive, messes up a confirm, gets a wrong read, or falls into one of puffs traps. Each character nukes the other, but puff can do it while not killing their hands.

It's like a melee tradition at this point. He was easy for people to hate because they needed a hate target after leffen somewhat mellowed out and hbox did do a handfu of dick-moves in his early days. Now though, the only reason people have to hate hbox is that he plays puff. I mostly ignore those people, because imagine how sad and pathetic their lives must be to have actual animosity for someone because they use a certain playstyle even though it's tournament legal and it's to win the tournament.

Because the game isn't dying or dead, but it is getting weaker and people seem to think its Puff that is causing this when in actuality its the fact the game is almost 2 decades old, is running on older hardware, requires a faulty controller for a distinct advantage in terms of play, and has a much steeper barrier for entry than more modern fighting games.

E Pla there's a losers bracket and a winners bracket if you're still in winners it means you haven't lost yet but if you get beaten in winners you get sent to Losers you will have to beat everyone that got sent to Losers in the Losers bracket all the way to the Grand Finals you will have to face off against the person who did not lose a single set the player that came out of Losers will have to beat the Player who came out of Winners 6 times (2 sets) the winner has to win 3 times (1 set) if you manage to beat the winner in the first set then it's what you call a reset if you manage to get a reset it means you sent the winner to Losers and then both are at 0 wins both just have to win 1 set as you can see in Pound 2019 grand finals HBox got the 3-2 reset and then 3-0d Mang0 in the second set

I've always felt so bad for Hbox. I see a lot of myself in him Smash wise. He's hated for playing a character an efficient way, yet hated by many (I play Bowser in Ultimate and everyone I play hates how I throw out aerials a lot) and some people have refused to play with me due to my "brain dead" and "not fun overly aggressive" play style. I'll always root for you Hbox, fighting the norm and keeping to how you play Smash.
