Look I'm not saying Acola is a bad player, but the obvious difference here is, Sonix has absolutely mastered Sonic as a character. Acola is a master at utilizing Steve's tools, but he has yet to master the character. Utilizing minecart, upsmash, anvil, blocks, etc. is good, until you come up against a player like Sonix where you just need to know how to adapt instead of leaning on Steve's tool kit like Acola tends to do.

It could just be me, idk I feel like at 4:51 when Sonix lands from the up b, if he waited and tried an up tilt combo he could’ve gotten more (or not idk). Or at like 8:44 when Sonix air dodges, maybe just waiting for him to airdodge couldve resulted in some good damage. It’s probably also just a retrospective thing from me, and Sonic is fairly frustrating to fight so you’d want the damage immediately, so I could just be completely wrong.
