I'm not sure but can't the players hear what the commentators are saying? To be honest that would be VERY distracting to me. Especially hearing them say m stuff like my opponent is one I have trouble with personally. Gee, thanks for the reminder.

95% of the cast, if not more as a kill throw why would marth be excluded? and as the damage on marth's none tippers, he literally does 13% on is f-smash, name me one other character that does less damage on a smash. I'd agree that the tippers do a shit load of knockback but that's the gimmick of the character and every move he as is somewhat well balanced according to that concept.

as much as I hate marth and how easy he is to play, I respect Leo. He is amazing at what he does. Would think sheik does really well in this match up too. also respect to mr.r. for his play and sticking with sheik.

TexasIsHere I'm just talking from a general standpoint. Not in top level play where everyone is difficult to use. He really isn't that hard of a character to pick up. No way would you classify marth as a "hard" character. As a zoner you have to know the basics of controlling space, so there is that, but outside of that not much else.

You're confusing a specialist play-style for an "easy" play-style. Marth can actually be a hard character to pick up in competitive play because of how much you need to excel at spacing to be effective with him; you can't just know the basics, you have to be REALLY good at spacing. And that implies other requirements as well like patience or good defensive play, for example. Anyway, my point is that just because a character focuses heavily on a single element of play this does not make them an "easy" character -- in many ways it makes using that character harder.

Tim David I just said NOT competitive play in my previous post. I said in every other level of play. Though spacing is something every character has to have, even if marth primarily focuses on that as I've mentioned too. He isn't braindead by all means. Hell in competitive play cloud isn't at all either. You see Leo struggling with him against elegant in a match up where Luigi actually gets beaten pretty handily. He just has way more tools than marth and is far more accessible. They both can have the same playstule to succeed and the same with other zoners. It's just again comes down to the tools and execution. Compare to someone like shulk who also is a zoner. Shulk definitely has more range, but his spacing and execution have to be emulate in comparison. All I'm saying is that compared to other zoners, marth isn't really that complicated. His spacing isn't complex and his execution is rather simple outside of tippers to finish the stock. THAT'S where the characters optimization comes into play with spacing compared to others. Though in top level play it doesnt happen consistent enough and only a few tippers kill stupid early unless you are close to the edge, off stage, or get smashed. You have to plan on just getting hits and kills period, because you won't have the luxury all the time. Unless you are a Lucina. She just says forget tips lol.

Who the fuck are you, have you ever played smash 4 before? Marth is easily the most technical and difficult character to perform at top level, that's why Leo is the ONLY one doing it.

well... by combo do you mean ''true combo''? cause' marth literally as almost no true combos aside from down throw to up air at low percents, which does not even connect on every character. the fact that leo was able to pull a ''50% combo''' on a player as skilled as mr.r is impressive regardless of the character he's playing, especially marth in this case.
