This match right here is a microcosm of why Smash commentary is so lacking: 1. Smashers attribute waaaay to much success to characters and not the players. Player matchup almost always trumps character matchup especially in a game as balanced as Ultimate. If somebody is getting molly whopped yall go straight to the "looks like a bad matchup" line instead of giving credit/blame to the players 2. *CONFORMATION BIAS!!!* This born from *Melee Poisoning.* In the dark ages of Melee, there arent enough tools for big slow characters to be good as the smash team was terrible at making a balanced fighter at that point. In literally every other smash starting from Brawl, big bodies have been viable but most of all in Ultimate In game 2 the first stock is neck-and-neck but all we hear about is how "big" ROB is. Smash commentators have to go out of their way to point out the struggles of big characters but ignore when they turn up ROB and DK are everywhere just use youre eyes and say they are good characters insted of "herp derp big body bad"

Even though most of this is egregiously incorrect anyway, you calling DK good and comparing him to ROB completely shows how clueless you are about the game Everybody knows ROB is a good character, pros have been placing him in at least top 15 for a long time now and he's one of the most played characters in high level play
