Ahhh here it is, The Disciple of Darkness. Or is it? Jokes aside, it's quite nice even if it isn't "True" compared to the others! So well done, DJ! The original Disciple of Darkness was one of my many favorites, all things admitted. So even this spin off is fun to listen too.

Such an awesome song, but it makes me wonder what's going to happen with Disciple of Light. We already have a True Disciple of Light, so are we gonna get a Truest Disciple? Guess we'll have to wait a few months to find out...

"False Disciple," implying there will be a "True" Disciple as well? MP2 had some good music, but I think the main theme was one of the weaker ones. If I was going to point out one for potentially using in a "true" song, possibly the Theme that plays vs. the final (Mutated) form of the Emperor Ing? 'cause that theme rocks. Side note, since Miracle Matter was used here, Should we assume Zero or 0^2 will feature in the "true" version?

Hold on... false disciple of darkness? "They had us in the first half, not gonna lie". Having read your blog post, I can see what you mean about it sounding off from the original, but I nonetheless appreciate being treated to this spin-off version with THREE touhou themes, none of which were in the original if I remember correctly! I also have to complement how moody the Echoes main theme sounds at 2.44, very fitting for a false doppelganger! Although I have to say, given all this talk of a "faker", it's perhaps a missed opportunity not to include a song associated with Shadow (the hedgehog)... unless he's actually waiting in True Disciple of Darkness?...
