That was a desicion made in just a few seconds! There was no other choice for him at this moment. Otherwhise he would have crashed with the bike. My deepest respect to do such a drop while driving with 200+ km/h! Even tho they are wearing triple layered leather, but still the courage is breathtaking.

One of the MOST important feature of a bike is the brake. I don't want to be the person who screwed this up. Yamaha should step up their game.

Yamaha has an engine problem and a break problem. I'm guessing the tech guys are pretty stressed out right now.

Do we need to maybe have a look at last weeks crash with Zarco and Morbidelli - it was the Yamaha that maybe couldn't brake sufficiently? Vinales did say that he was having problems from lap 3. Maybe Zarco was treated too harshly - and by the way I am not French or a hard core Zarco fan.

Amazing to be able to jump off like that and in such a controlled way. Even though its that or the wall, it still takes some real 🥜 to do that. Respect. Slow mo at 2:50 crazy the way he even manages to prevent his body rolling by leaning to counter balance and spreading his arms etc
