"Emoția este vehiculul prin care teatrul își poartă mesajul și își poartă sensul." Maia Morgenstern is a famous theater and film actress from Romania.
She was born in Bucharest, in a Jewish family. She studied at the Academy of Theater and Film between 1981 and 1985, after which he worked at the Piatra Neamţ "Teatrul Tineretului" until 1988.
She appeared on the stage of the Jewish State Theater in Bucharest, joining the troupe at the Ion Luca Caragiale National Theater. Her notable roles include Lola Lola from "The Blue Angel" ("Der Blaue Engel") or Kathleen Hogan in "Your Car in Harvard Yard." Maia is known to the Romanian public and for her roles in the films "Balanta", "The most beloved of the earthly", "Passion of Christ".
Since 2010 she is appointed ambassador for the Alliance of Civilizations in Romania. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
