Hello Anna...I am starting my Camino from Salamanca on the 1st of May. I have enjoyed watching your videos of the route.I have found them very useful in my planning of the walk. By the way, do you know that this route is called the Camino Fonseca. Named after Don Alonso de Fonseca y Acevedo the third. He was Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela. He established colleges in both Santiago and in Salamanca. You can find his statue in the central courtyard of the Fonseca College University Library adjacent to the cathedral in Santiago..

Hi Harry, thank you for the kind words. I envy your Camino in May. Yes, I know it's the Camino Fonseca. I actually wanted to title my films that way, but I figured people wouldn't understand. I wasn't aware of the history behind the name though. It's a shame I didn't know earlier; I would have visited the patron in Santiago. Buen Camino!
