PennCentral670 the P42dc’s can’t go that distance they have smaller fuel tanks meant for intercity service if Via rail rebuilt the fuel tanks then maybe they could do it but with the fuel tanks they have now they would have to stop to refuel more often

@@hamesjeff also I think the F40s are geared better to go through the mountains than the P42s that were bought for high speed service. It’s similar to why the MLW and E units rarely went West when the Canadian was owned by CP.

Bien Canada hermosa loca motora le felicito al pais y al presidente de ese pais xq yo creo q un tren o locamotora es un adorno de cada nación y traee mucho turismo .En nuestro pais Ecuator también avia locasmotoras a vapor pero los presidentes corruptos lo terminarón . Le ago un llamado a Canadá para q bengan a ver lo q tiene el Ecuator la hermosa montaña NARIZ DEL DIABLO ben Canadá ben ECUATOR te nesecita ya q USA no quiere........?
