I might not have seen every video you have done, but have seen a few and this is the first one I have seen you use the reverse turbo. When a pipe is not totally blocked, that is a great nozzle for cutting roots and cleaning the walls, as long as you rotate the hose.

I agree, Superb nozzle for cleaning and clearing. I dont get it out often but when i do it does a hell of a good job. Yes you are right about rotating. i normally go up one side and down the other but it its really bad in there i would work my way back rotating up and down as i go, can get messy tho lol

@@Elbows-Deep while most of the drains you do are a good bit different than what we have here in the US, I use a piece of old conveyor belt with a hole in the middle as a shield to reduce all the blow back. Even a piece of plywood will work, cut the hole big enough for the nozzle, then take something like a piece of inner tube to staple over the hole, cut a slit in the rubber, this way it keeps it from blowing back through the hole.

@@stevem1081 I use a traffic cone. i put my hose down the center hole and sit the cone over the drain. it works really well with the exception of not making for good viewing if im recording. sometimes i make small sacrifices to make better more viewable videos. 🙂

Black swan? So I definitely don’t use KZbin to promote that by the way, I just need a new shirt for KZbin, it would normally get changed. As you have taken the time to ask tho I will answer and hasten getting a new elbows deep shirt 🤣. Black swan Drainage is named after a black swan event. A black swan event is a sudden and unexpected occurrence. Like the financial markets crash or in this case a blocked drain. It’s very rare anyone gets it but when they do and without asking, they think it’s clever 😂

Have you told Megan why in the manholes either side of the channel in benched with a curve and there is no flat surface......So rats can't climb up and nest, hard to nest if there is no where to nest.

I think i told her all about that a few weeks ago when we were re benching a drain and making repairs. no video for it tho. i did i thing mention it in my pest control video a few months ago when we fitted a NRV rodent stopper.
