Some context: the song references North Sentinel Island, which is technically part of India's Andaman Islands, but is in effect a sovereign island under Indian protection whose residents - the Sentinelese - are known for violently resisting any attempts at outsider contact and are quite possibly the last truly uncontacted people on the planet. In the fall of 2018 some fucking missionary idiot by the name of John Chau attempted to visit the island in order to convert the Sentinelese to Christianity, but - surprise, surprise - he got his stupid ass killed in the process. A summary: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinelese#Death_of_a_missionary_(2018)

I hope somehow my death was a little bit meaningful Ah [Verse 2] Well, life here on the island They live a life of violence But once they read my Bible They'll know how to live like you and I do Wanna teach them how to party and teach them how to drive But they shot me up with arrows, now I think I'm gonna die I think I'm gonna die, man [Chorus] Goin' to the island of the Sentinels I’ll bring you lots of heroin and fentanyl They told me I’m not welcome, man, but what the hell? I hope somehow my death was a little bit meaningful [Outro] I'm goin’ to the island of the Sentinels I'm goin' to the island of the Sentinels I'll see you on the island of the Sentinels I’m goin' to the island of the Sentinels
