December 10, 2017 - In this video I demonstrate how I use my Viair 85P portable 12v air compressor. It is rated up to 60 PSI and uses a 12v power socket for power (need to have the vehicle running). It is available on Amazon:
www.amazon.com/dp/B0036E9VB6/...
If you need more than 60 PSI, there are other highly rated VIAIR portable air compressors available. However, the 85P plugs into a 12v power socket and the other ones need to be connected directly to a vehicle battery. The 85P comes with a couple of attachments for blowing up balls (soccer, basketballs, footballs, toys, etc) and a larger one for blowing up air mattresses, larger items that use the push-in valve deal. Can be used up to 60 PSI...so, most vehicles, bikes, and equipment should be fine with this unit. This unit has a nifty LED light, bag, accurate air pressure gauge, and is very lightweight. The only thing I don't like is that the hose and power cord is a little too short.
Here is the specs from Viair:
12 VOLT - 60PSI Max Working Pressure, engine must be running during use.
1.26CFM Free Flow @ 0 PSI
Portable air compressor powered by auxilliary power outlet. (The 85P can only be used if your outlet is rated to 15 AMPS/180 Volts or more)
Easy to read tire pressure gauge mounted on the compressor. Super bright LED work light included.
Engine must be running when in use.
