Rincón de Guayabitos is one of the most popular and visited beaches of the Riviera Nayarit. If you are looking to spend all day on the beach or enjoy holidays, continue reading the description of the video.
-How to get to Rincon de Guayabitos?
To get to Rincón de Guayabitos from Puerto Vallarta you must take the Puerto Vallarta-Tepic road is almost 70 km and the journey time is about an hour twenty minutes approximately.
Remember that in Rincón de Guayabitos is one hour less than in Puerto Vallarta.
-How to get to Guayabitos in public bus?
From the airport take a cab to the near Bus Station and hop into the Bus that goes to "La Peñita" whichi is Guayabitos downtown. If you just got your carry on, feel free to get out of the bus right in front of the beach access, however if you have more baggage, you will want to wait until you reach the "Peñita" Bus station and get a Taxi there to get to your hotel.
-Where to Stay?
We stayed in a San Pancho Airbnb and this occasion was something completely different. A motorhome adapted for 4 people with kitchen, air conditioning, full bathroom and quite comfortable beds. Located on the main street of San Pancho which takes you to the beach.
-What to do in Rincon de Guayabitos?
Visit Coral Island, taking a boat on the beach that charges $180 pesos per person and takes you there and returns for you at the time you indicate. The last boat passes by people to the island is 6 p.m. Here you can swim, eat and if you take someone in a wheelchair I do not think it is very safe since it is not adapted the place with ramps or access.
For you to enjoy much more of the island we recommend to take your simple equipment of snorkel so that you surprise with so much marine life that there is.
In San Pancho you can walk, visit the craft shops and go to enjoy the sunset on the beach, it is really beautiful.
-Where to eat in Rincon de Guayabitos?
At every step you get here you will find a stall selling something to eat, for example ceviche toast, grilled shrimp, fruit cocktails, etc. There are also beachside restaurants where you can eat comfortably and enjoy the view.
We ate at the "Toñita I Restaurant" and tried the shrimp cocktail but it was hot, it was a new experience for us and we also loved it. Their menu is varied, the attention is good and the quality of food also.
And if you visit San Pancho, try the Maria's Restaurant, it's very good too or on the beach there are restaurants that offer food and drink for you to enjoy. On this beach they do not sell food in places like in Guayabitos and there is no rent of potholes or palapas, here everyone takes theirs.
