I am surprised you guys haven’t noticed how Leah and Miguel are with each other, they are always together, like 9 times out of 10 they are not the focus of the scene but if you look at them, they are sitting next to each other, or touching each other, or joking with each other etc. a lot of the time when watching Love Island you have to pay attention to the picture, not just who is talking, because the episode can only focus on so much.

So Leah made a poor choice of words to defend herself and stop being villainized. She saying she TRIED (which I don’t believe as trying takes effort and I have not heard not naan effort she made to take the backseat) but in the end she didn’t take a backseat so… it’s disingenuous. Loved the ep: 2 things can be true: Aaron can (and IS) the villain of this season of love island, but he absolutely was the sweetest boy ever in Traitors. It's literally the reason we all were rooting for him and why his LI actions have been so disappointing! He gave all the money he won to his mom so she could buy a house. He was the nicest guy in the villa, he also has severe ADHD which got him in trouble on the Traitors because some people did not understand him and his outbursts. He cried A LOT on that season too. So truly, he's really not that different personality wise on the two shows - this just has a romantic element to it, obvi. It's one of the best seasons of traitors so definitely watch check it out too.

I think Liv would have a different opinion on this if she watched the episodes back, the way rob twisted Leah’s words when he relayed the info to Liv and Kaylor 100% made him the instigator, especially his tone and just the way he was saying things. Liv jumped on that opportunity too quick in order to protect her ego. The whole situation was just really dumb and did not have to be such a big deal. Leah was not rooting for Andrea the way kaylor said she was, she was trying to correct the misinformation coming from Aaron’s mouth where he planted this idea to rob that it was Leah’s fault Andrea was sent home. That never happened! We all know leah is not afraid to voice her opinion, and that night she said her piece and didn’t talk as much as liv. So I think she 100% tried to take the backseat like she told rob, but then rob made it sound like leah was trying to blame the decision on the rest of the girls when leah was just trying to correct these rumors by the boys that Aaron started that leah caused it. Other than that good episode

I think the issue with the vote/backseat situation is when Leah said backseat she meant she didn't lead the discussion or gun for Andrea. She was just trying to say she didn't convince everyone to vote for Andrea. Her saying the word backseat isn't necessarily wrong, but everyone took what she said a different way. It's all a huge miscommunication, and it's so frustrating from a viewer standpoint. It's also a COMPETITION. It was unfair in general for any of the girls to be yelled at for the vote, they couldve sent Andrea home because they thought she'd win over them. It's fair either way. So annoying.

If you watch the show Rob went up to liv and told her that Leah took a back seat in the decision which might have not been what Leah meant and Rob might have twisted it or misunderstood so when Leah and Rob had the argument and Leah called liv over expecting liv to defend her, liv was on Rob's side because she heard a different story and thought that Leah saying back seat meant that she did not partake in the decision as much even though that's clear that Leah was just (maybe even more) vocal than the others. While I also noticed that Jenn did not say "Thank you for your service," to Marcus - I would not go as far as saying it was disrespectful. As a fellow first generation American, I did not learn that etiquette until I got older and went to school in the South. Jenn may not have realized it was a custom to do so and the producers may not have suggested it to her. She was still actively listening and showing respect without using that exact language. Also, these Bachelorette recaps have been super centered around the men so far. Would love to hear more affirmations towards Jenn as a lead since you all definitely did that for Joey last season.

Yes! I also thought her active listening and affirmations of him and his resilience was the perfect response to the sharing of his traumatic event. I prefer what she told him rather than a measly “thank you for your service….do you think you are you ready for love now?” like nah. Great catch about cultural and environmental differences contributing to her potentially not knowing about that custom phrase. Natalie fixating on those words seemed to me to be a projection of her emotions associated with her brother bc he served. And a projection of her own beliefs regarding how people should speak to vets but I was kind of turned off by that because it came off condescending. The only person you can really guide on how to speak to people or vets is your own child. Also, “Thank you for your service” might’ve seemed more formal and they were on a romantic date which is why i took what she said to be appropriate bc like you said she showed respect to him without using those exact words. Also, pure speculation, but she might also not love the thought of military men in foreign places when it comes to the topic of destabilization of other countries lol not every American feels the same about things like this and Natalie made an assumption. You also make a GREAT point in pointing out a weird double standard shown toward her and the lack of discourse about her approach to the men in comparison to Joey who was frequently highlighted for his kindness and or consideration. They ARE making it all about the males and not drawing much attention to the kindness and listening skills here. Not only that but people(miserable women) in other spaces like Reddit are weirdly obsessively criticizing her “immaturity” or finding new ways to explain why she ain’t a good lead. Meanwhile, they were riding Joey last season. It’s pathetic. A clear harsher bias bc she’s a woman and i suspect in general because she is Asian. She is no more “immature” than the Hannah B’s of the franchise

In the finale there are 2 envelopes and the top couple each picks one and opens it. One says $100k the other says $0. Then, the person who has the envelope showing $100k decides if they want to share it. Could be either the guy or girl. Hope this helps!😊

Yes! Except Aaron played the role Bennet played back then. FYI: Emma from the Love to See It podcast did some digging and the book Aaron gave him does NOT exist. So it was clearly created by production. Whether that means it was Aaron’s idea based on what happened with Noah or if it was the Producers’ idea and he just went along with it? Who knows?

Liv threw Leah under the bus!! To the guys!! I think there has always been some underlying tension between her and Leah because of the Rob stuff. Also, this is the ENTIRE reason Rob thinks Leah was lying and she WASN’T, it’s from what Liv told him!! They would be together if he didn’t think Leah was lying. And it’s all because of this, Liv should have set the record straight. Don’t agree with her on this one. And there is no chemistry between Miguel and Leah AT ALL, like nothing. She doesn’t seem interested and he’s openly a player. I don’t get it. Also, I don’t think there is any chemistry between Kendall and Nicole, just had to throw that in haha Never saw it ever with them!!
