Thank you so much dude, a pile of around 20 sheets of paper got jammed deep inside the fuser. I succesfully disassembled the printer and removed the paper, but I was later left with the metal contact you're showing around 11:03, and didn't know what to do with it. You literally saved my money I would spend on repair! Thanks again!

A good tip for this type of printer is when you want to use a toner longer (than brother says you can), just click the button in front of the printer 7 times in a row. It will continue and you can use your toner for much longer!

Mine is making a high-pitched grinding noise, so I need to press on the sides to print. Maybe a cog is skipping. Wish me luck. Solution if anyone has the same problem: I found that the minor gear connected to the big one (2:15 on the right in the video) had slipped out and a little cracked. Pushed it back and reinforced it with super glue and baking soda (just the part that does not have teeth). Also regreased all gears with a little bit of silicone grease. Now it's golden. Page count: 11.728

got a Fuji P115w main motor failure which seemed to have exact design with this. Where is the main motor though? is it the lower left at 8:00?

Yes it's the same printer. Yes it's the main motor but the error messaes are often very vague

Nella HL-1110 purtroppo i messaggi di errore sono molto generali. Comunque non dovrebbe essere toner, drum, gruppo fusore

Se quebró la pestaña que acciona el sensor de cubierta abierta; ¿Cual es la posición cuando la cubierta está abierta, obturando o no la luz del LED? en la sobre vista no se alcanza a ver el detalle. Try to reseat the toner cartridge. May be it's not in the right position and the toner roller is not in contact with the drum. check the corona wire cleaner, is it in the right position?

I am getting error '' door is open '' but the door is properly clossd, I opened the door and tried to check the door sensor[left side], by checking and trying the problem is not solving. Is there any other sensor in the printer? which can cause this error ? what can be the reason ? Is this a damaged sensor problem or something else ?

Minha brother hl-1212w só liga/desliga sem o cilindro, com o cilindro não desliga nem imprime. Mesmo com cilindro sem o toner fica com erro. My brother hl-1212w only turns on / off without the cylinder, with the cylinder it does not turn off or print. Even with a drum without toner, it is wrong.

Probably there is a shurt somewhere in the drum unit. Check if there are foreign objects in the corona wire assembly, or other foreign objects inside the printer near the contacts

Detach the electrical cable and try to turn it on again. Check if there is jammed paper inside the printer

@@edoardosimoncini1515 Gli ingranaggi hanno poco a che fare con il trascinamento carta. E' più probabile che il gommino presa carta sia consumato, magari basta anche solo pulirlo con alcool.

hi @viandant5, when you install the fuser at kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYTKkKCkr8mhq7M, is the fuser gear supposed to touch the white gears on the right side of the printer? mine does not touch them and the paper jams exactly when it is supposed to be picked by the fuser, so I am suspecting it is due to the gears. What do you think? Thanks.

If I remember weel it must contact the gear. Check if the gear has some broken tooth. When the printer is turned on check if the fuser rollers are turning.

​@@viandant5 Thanks for the reply, I managed to fix it - the problem is I opened the fuser to check the heat lamp and after I put it back, I did not fully push the drum in its place, so the gear wheel was not making contact. Now is fixed. Thanks for this video as well, it helped me a lot.
