Love the Diamond Press Marquise Die Cutting machine. After watching the review it is far better die cutting machine than any others I've seen. Love the easy cutting and embossing. It is so easy to use and quiet. Thanks for showing us how it works.

I've been waiting to buy one of those for months. I own a Bigshot and Gemini but the machine I use most is the Diamond Press. I can fit most of my dies, but not all so the Marquise is the answer to my prayers! I have had the HSN premiere date on my calendar for weeks! YOU ARE SO LUCKY!

When the handle broke on my little machine they replaced it right away, no hassles. They didn’t even ask how old it was. It still works great! The clear plastic folder system is so fast and easy. I’m very excited about the bigger opening and the included bundle of stamps & dies.

Hi Vianney, just wanted to tell you that I did buy a gold Todays Special (the teal & pink were so tempting!!)to try it out. I'm thinking it might replace my Cuttlebug, we'll see. You should also know that it is thanks to you alone that they made the sale. Suzanne and Beth's presentation was disjointed and I felt like I didnt really get to see it. For me, this is typical of the DP presentations on HSN and the main reason I've always just ignored it until now. I did get the autoship but it seems a little expensive so I may cancel it. Thanks!

Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment. I agree, it's even more difficult now to get a good demo as they aren't in the same room anymore, it can make for a disjointed appearance. I am glad you got a machine, it really is great! It was really hard to pick a color, huh? They are all so pretty and I love bright pink and gold...went with Coral bc I figured not many people would and I wanted to see what it looked like (at the time I just had a list of colors, no image). Off the top of my head, I think the folders are just about 4 1/4" by 6". I don't recall right now. I do say the size in the video.

I see HSN has the Gemini Mini with craft bundle. In your opinion is this a better deal or wait for the Diamond Press Marquise on HSN in June?

I don't really like to say what the value of something is as far as dollars bc it changes and depends on what you're looking for. However, the Gemini Mini can't cut larger dies like the Marquise does! The Marquise cuts up to about 4 1/4" and the mini is just over 3" opening. That makes a huge difference!! That's entirely up to you, but I do prefer the Marquise.

Have you noticed if the Diamond Press die cut folders and emboss folders are holding up better or worse than the Gemini mini? I want to make cards like 3x5 ones using one of these but not sure which would do a better job/hold up better.

TBH, I don't use the mini enough to answer that. I use the Marquise every day, several times a day...and only yesterday decided to switch for a new folder (it still cuts small items just fine but paper for larger pieces was beginning to crease a bit). So, two months of heavy use and I was good! (:

Alice Mel I got the mini just to try it out, because I like making reviews. I already had a diamond press, the little one and all my other machines. I prefer the marquise because the opening is bigger, I can run so many more dies through that easily compared to the Gemini mini. I have a video comparing a lot of my machines, if you want to check that out. Of course, this machine wasn't around then.

My favorite is the set with the stand mixer, whisk, mixing bowls (don’t know the name of the set) and the fact that my 7 year old can craft with me without worries. Enter me - WOW! I usually use an automatic machine but havent been happy with the results- This looked effortless- I have a muscle condition that limits the strength in my hands so this would be great. Of Course the size is ideal to fit in any crafting space.

Can I use any brand of dies with this machine? I was looking at a die on HSN that is 3.8” x 6”.

Yes, all thin metal dies are interchangeable. The size of the die you mention should fit inside the folder size.

What I meant was, I looked for a newer review from your channel and I couldn’t find one. :) I found a great review from you which compared machines, but it was before this machine was introduced. I plan on using this one to make cards. My primary concern is that I hope replacement blank folders are available (haven’t been able to locate any) or that there is another brand of “plain” blank folders (not embossed) that I can use in this machine.
