Such a beautiful card! I love that paper. Didn't think about making a shaker like that! So about 6 months ago I watched a crafting video with a lady and in the background I saw that she had her nesting dies hanging on a carousel. I thought I should also keep my nesting dies out too because I don't know what I have. So I took out all my nesting dies and hung them on my peg board which is on my wall where I craft. Now I see them all the time and I use them much more than I ever have. Thanks for your video!! ps I have those same round old foam pads! LOL!

Thanks for the nesting die reminder. Great demo. I tend to use them to highlight my sentiments inside the card. Just to add, made me chuckle when you said you have the foliage and a doily close by (and I imagine several other “things”). I have several random things that I just know I’ll need eventually and my husband even asks before he throws anything out - “hey, can you use this?”. 🤣🤣🤣. Cause you never know.

So cute. Hope Diamond Press comes out with a longer folder. Like 2 inches. That way the longer edgeables & slimline dies dont have to be rotated. I want to buy jumanji but have had difficulties with another long intricate die that it moves just slightly. So glad they are bringing out longer metal shims. That turned out so cute.

This is so weird. I made a shaker birthday card earlier today with layered dies that I haven’t used in forever. I couldn’t use my larger DP shaker dies because I wanted a flamingo die cut I’d made in the center of the shaker, and it was too large for the DP dies. I used stitched rectangles. I used cooking collar acetate for my window. I got an idea for a card for a fiftieth birthday that I need to make. When you cut your card base with the ovals it looked like a toilet seat to me. Guess where I’m going with that. Don’t be offended as your card was pretty and looked nothing like a toilet seat when finished.
