Thank you for this review! I avoided a disaster! When I compile it with all the other reviews it appears Viasat is a new name for the infamous Hughes net.

Hey, Nicholas I don't know if they are merged or not, I heard they was but not sure at this time. And thank you for your feedback I don't want anyone to face what me and my family went through. It was a nightmare to say the least. I wish you well on finding the best internet service to fit your needs.

I was completely lied to before I signed up for their service. The sales rep knew beforehand I had a business and needed to use it heavily as well as stream for my KZbin. He said it 'rarely to NEVER happens that someone will experience lags, drags, or no internet at all if your a customer that goes over their data cap.' I was completely disgusted when I found out otherwise, but they had me over a loop because there was nowhere else to go and had me also under a two-year contract. Great informative video!

Thanks , I've figured that it's time to just hold people to their word and just give a honest review and let people and our viewers know what they might expect from this company. If it's good well let them know and if not then well we will let them know that as well.

I had them its better to have nothing then too have Viasat One time I called them everyday for a month to get my service working they would slow me all the time and say we dont know

Good and True Comment. I remember calling them myself and this was the first month of my service. It was so slow it was like not having it. It got better but you could count on running out of Bandwith within about 10 days every month no matter how much you tried to cut back on use.

Don't ever switch from a ground broadband connection for a satellite connection. Ground internet is always best connection. Unless you have no options but to get satellite. Then wait for starlink which will be much better then viasat and Hughes Net.

Their top plan is $ 300 a month lol for 3 mbps of upload speed, it’s not any different performance than the lower plans. I will find personal satisfaction seeing this company go away!

We truly understand-same plan-far different prices and speeds,etc.
