Its a first happy song about loosing someone. It brings tears but, this song is like missing someone after loosing this person few years ago. At least I feel it like this. Very good song. Very good vibe even when tears are falling from my eyes. I lost my brother in april about 11 years ago. After loosing him every april brings this brutal fact that he is gone. Birds sings like they sang in the day I lost him, smell of grass and trees waking up to live again, but for me wolrd stops for all month. Every april is different. One is cold one is hot. Only this smell and birds singing are the same and this fact that everything reminds me this time of loosing him. Everything changes acpet the trouth that your gone, and life just goes on. Briliant words. Good job Ed, again awesome song. Ive been dancig with my eyes closed everyapril since 21.04.2012 because life must go on somehow. And I need to keep up.

my ghost friend mike passed away from a car accident with a drunk driver earlier today at the age of 37. he was a big fan of ed sheeran, so they played his playlist at his funeral this afternoon. this song played as his casket was being lowered in the ground. Because everywhere i go, i still see him. I will never forget you mike. i feel the hurt about a month later because he was more than just a ghost friend, he was my best friend. rest in peace mike. 1986-2023.
